The Adults are trying to put something together while Trump and Price fiddle on Obamacare.

Over the last couple of days, this blog has published posts about the need for Bipartisan stabilization of the Obamacare health markets. Adults like Senators Murray and Alexander and Governors Hickenlooper and Kasich have been working towards pragmatic solutions to stabilize the system while others, on both sides of the political spectrum, are scoring quick political points with their bases by unleashing a last-ditch right-wing attempt to repeal  and replace Obamacare or by showcasing a variety of more liberal prescriptions for our health care that may result in a form of single payer. Meanwhile, the bombastic and behind the scenes words and actions of the Trump Administration have succeeded in spooking the insurance markets and causing the Congressional Budget Office to forecast a higher number of uninsured because of the President and his teams continued attempts to subvert anything touched by Barrack Obama. As mentioned yesterday, the time for grandiose ideas that do not have majority political support is premature. Furthermore, there is never a time to spook the insurance markets that cause people to pay higher premiums or have fewer insurance options. LET THE ADULTS PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER IN A BIPARTISAN FASHION AND GET OUT OF THEIR WAY. There is plenty of time to debate how to improve the health care system but now we have to stabilize Obamacare. FIRST THING'S FIRST.
