It is time for extreme Conservatives to wake up and realize that the nation does not embrace their priorities. It is time for extreme Progressives to consider letting their colleagues in Red States off the hook if they vote for a short-term government renewal if the six-year renewal for C.H.I.P. does what it is supposed to. Then again, it is time to stop putzing around and pass a budget, pass a renewal of C.H.I.P., protect the DACA kids, and properly fund our priorities. If they can not perform this basic function of government, then the people responsible for this juvenile behavior need to leave and make way for people that will put Country first.
