Most Non Gubernatorial Republicans have Un American priorities for the American People in health care, taxes, foreign policy, and infrastructure

Most current Republicans that are Governors and many that are retired legislators are aghast at what has happened to their party. These pragmatic and adult public servants wonder why their party would support a health care measure that most Governors (which includes a substantial number of Republican ones) oppose because it would hurt the people in their states. They wonder why the Republican leaders in the Senate would drop bipartisan talks with the Democrats over stabilizing the healthcare marketplaces in favor of a plan that in many ways is just as draconian as earlier ones attempted (and failed) over the summer. They probably also wonder why Republican leaders, after history has proven this economic model folly, would go for a trillion and a half supply side tax cut that adds to the nations debt after whining during the Obama Administration that deficits matter. To the people who know history, they pulled this during the Clinton years and they conveniently forgot it when George W, Bush pushed two tax cuts through Congress (the second one when we were involved in two wars). Most Americans also wonder why the President is threatening to scuttle a successful nuclear deal with the Iranians, with the members of the foreign policy establishment wondering how this posturing will indirectly hurt attempts to lower the temperature with North Korea. Finally, most people in this country are wondering why the President has not yet unveiled a bipartisan infrastructure plan to rebuild America and bring our airports, railways, telecommunications, highways, and shipping lanes into this century. This is a win win, if done right through bipartisan compromise, for everyone. Why are the Republican priorities seemingly aimed at hurting our people and our country and not bringing them up. Their attitudes and policy prescriptions are frankly Un American.
