Idea of the Week: Congress to get its act together and fund C.H.I.P. and help the Dreamers

Well, Congress is back in session and the Democrats have one more Senator as a Holiday Gift courtesy of Steve Bannon and Roy Moore. It is time for the Dems to use that gift to help get the Children's Health Insurance Program (C.H.I.P.) renewed and help the Dreamers. These children should not have to worry one more day if they and their families can either afford to go to the doctor or attend school without worry of a police officer escorting them to Immigration Control. This is what we pay them to do. It is time for them to get its act together and get off their butts and solve this. If they can do it for tax cuts for the rich, they can do it for our most vulnerable. Otherwise, this is not the United States I grew up in.
