How dead is the Republican Party? Consider this.
Exhibit One: They put up candidates that are an insult to human decency. This includes the defeated Senate Candidate in Alabama Roy Moore and the newly nominated self professed Nazi Arthur Jones in Illinois third district. The Republicans could not find one candidate in that district to put up against this slime.
Exhibit Two: The Republican President of the United States lost the popular vote by three million votes, was endorsed by the KKK, is under investigation for obstruction of justice, and is being sued by several women for inappropriate conduct. Despite all this, most Republican leaders in political and evangelical circles support this person. If Barrack Obama or Hillary Clinton had been faced with one of these situations, these same people who back Trump would be chasing Obama and Clinton with torches and pitchforks.
Exhibit Three: The great majority of the American People do not support Republican Priorities which rob from the poor and middle class and give to the rich while making our air and water unsafe for humans around the country.
When it is explained like this, it should not be hard for Democrats to win in November and beyond. However, while it may not be hard, it will not be easy and Progressives have to work every day to make sure their candidates prevail and start steering this country on the right course again.
