Think about it. About one-third of our people live in highly polluted areas. This is a disgrace not because this is happening (and it may get worse) during the Trump years. It is a disgrace because this is the result of decades of environmental neglect despite record investments in green energy and environmental regulation. Why are a third of our people subjected to living in filth when we have the technology and laws (for now) to combat it? This is something that our local communities can address rather than waiting for a New Administration in 2021. This needs to be addressed from the bottom up and it is often more sustainable when fixes are done from the bottom up rather than top down. As French President Macron said in a recent speech to Congress, there is no Planet B.
