While the initial reports from Capital Hill signal that the Federal Bureau of Investigation may have produced an incomplete report that yielded no corroborating evidence supporting the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, it should be noted that no corroboration, even in an incomplete report, means innocence and Senators should consider the following question: Do we want to promote a person to the Supreme Court with these allegations forever over his head as well as his possible perjury in responses to the Judiciary Committee? Is a person who went bombastic in his introductory statement before the committee, spouting conspiracy theories, blessed with the temperament to be an impartial judge/ These are questions worthy of consideration.
