Two years after a vote Most British did not think would happen (sound familiar), the British still have not found a way to conclude an amicable divorce from the European Union according to Brexit. A good reason for this is probably because of the majority of the people (despite the slim majority vote that day) do not want to leave the European Union, especially since the claims of the leading Russian backed proponents of Brexit like Nigel Farage (more money for National Health and a mass migration of immigrants) never materialized (sound familiar) . Unfortunately for the British Government, Prime Minister May is stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place with pro-Brexit ministers in her cabinet scorning her compromise plans which amount to EU membership lite. Unfortunately for her calling for an election would probably end her premiership as the last one she called nearly sank it. Maybe the cleanest thing to do is have another referendum now that the British people see what a Brexit exit would entail. That would be the prudent and safest route to go.
