The ideas presented by Senator Sanders should be goals all Democrats and Progressives should reach for. However, Democrats and Progressives would do well to achieve most of these measures (with the exception of green energy and political and campaign finance reform) incrementally through gradual steps over five to ten years. The masses will swallow progressivism better when it is accomplished this way.
