Progressive Bull Moose: The greatest periods of financial stability and prosperity for all our citizens in this country were when the wealthy paid 70 percent or more in the highest tax bracket. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is right to ask the rich to pay more. It should probably be raised to no more than 45 to 50 percent at this time but even if it were raised to 70 percent, 99.999 percent of our wealthiest will not be on our freeway exits asking for change so they can buy food.
