Two Governors in the Democratic Presidential race with Inslee and Hickenlooper; Maybe Bullock from Montana and Cuomo from New York will jump in. It should be noted that while Senators like Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, and Obama were largely effective Presidents, being a Governor (or Mayor) where you have actual executive experience does demonstrate whether or not you can run things. Just ask Governors Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. While the records on these Presidencies are mixed, Governors and Mayors probably warrant more scrutiny because they have demonstrated whether or not they can run a city or state.
