Because of this countries stupidity towards Iran (pulling out of the nuclear deal, restoring and upping economic sanctions, and listening to the same hardliners that put us in the quagmire with Iraq), we lack credibility when the Iranians may have done their own stupid acts like mining the waters that hit tankers and shooting down a drone in "disputed" air space. If ever there is a time for both sides to go to their corners, take a deep breath and do a reset, this is it.
