Keep the President from watching Fox News or at least impulse tweeting afterwards: It is in the best interests of the country.

Our President is a very "knee-jerk" leader. A right-wing proponent of "strong borders" goes on Fox and Friends this morning "moaning and groaning" about how the borders with Mexico are porous and that the Republicans in Congress should eliminate the filibuster to pass immigration laws-the alt right version and within minutes, the President parrots these comments in a series of tweets in either a cynical appeal to his base or because he just can not help himself.

No one is arguing against a strong border. A country would not be viable if there were no strong borders. It is ironic that this administration thinks all the illegal activity comes from the south as opposed to the North with Canada or our western and eastern coastlines. We should be criticizing the President for not having any viable plans to stop illegal immigration or contraband from entering the country from all borders. He would be better to develop an immigration and border plan that in consultation with Congress and fashion common sense solutions to our border issues that protect the innocent and their property, reward the people in DACA or on the fringe who help our country grow, promote legal immigration, and punish those who need to leave. That would be better than knee-jerk reactions to whatever he watches on the news shows. Our country would be better for it.
