THIS IS SINFUL. PRISONS GETTING $20,000 MORE PER PRISONER THAN SCHOOLS GET PER STUDENT.

Is it any wonder that the Education Community in Arizona is up in arms with its teachers about to strike if its demands are not met.

It does not take a genius to see that having a $20,000 disparity between what prisoners and students get in the prisoners' favor is not the building blocks necessary to move a state or a nation forward. Our leaders in both parties need to recognize this quickly and adopt policies that will put us on the road to a better tomorrow.
