Why does the Republican "Mainstream" suck up to the Freedom Caucus? They are a minority in the Republican Party and they offer nothing constructive to governing. They also do not know what they are doing as evidenced by trying to draft Articles of Impeachment against Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. They appear to have quickly dropped the matter after only getting 11 signatures. This shows they really have no clout. The Republicans would do well to just ignore these fanatics and try to govern in cooperation with the Democrats.
