Phil Bredesen is an acclaimed former mayor and governor in Tennessee who has earned the respect and friendship of Democrats and Republicans (including one of the incumbent Senators Bob Corker).
Marsha Blackburn is a firebrand House Representative from Tennessee who may think is ill-tempered to be a Senator.
Why is this Senate replace repalce Corker not a landslide for Bredesen? Have Republicans become so tribal that they would rather put a person of questionable character attributes in the Senate rather than someone who has demonstrated valued public service?
Oh wait for a second, this has happened before in 2016 on the national level with Republicans by large percentages backing the popular vote loser.
Please, citizens of Tennessee, vote for the person who you know will do a better job rather than the one who will be a carbon copy of what is in the White House.
