First, most Senate Republicans, acting like Quisling collaborators, voted to block the creation of a bipartisan commission that would have examined Donald Trump's and others' (in Congress) role in the events leading up to the January 6, 2021, Domestic Terrorist Attack-Attempted Insurrection at the Nation's Capitol.
Now, Quisling Senate Republicans have shown their political cowardice again by insisting that a bipartisan committee report from the Upper Chamber contain no findings that blame Donald Trump for his role in the attempted insurrection.
In fact, Republicans did not want the word insurrection included in the report. They are so pathetic.

Two points here.
1) The American People in the world of reality already know Donald Trump is largely to blame for the attempted INSURRECTION on the Nations Capitol on January 6, 2021.
2) While the bipartisan report contains pertinent information on intelligence lapses among members of the Capitol Police, Homeland Security, and F.B.I. that, if handled differently, may have prevented the January 6 Domestic Terrorist attack and recommendations on moving forward, Democrats should have told Republicans to shove it and printed their findings, if there were any, on Trump's and others culpability in the event. They should also have used the word insurrection and told Republicans to write their own Trump Zone alternative reality report if they wanted to.
This is yet another example of how most members of the former Party of Lincoln will attempt to circumvent the American Ideal. While they are working to suppress Democracy and the right to vote in the states, they are glossing over and offering revisionist Orwellian versions of historical events in order to make people forget or have a different version of the events on January 6, 2021.
As mentioned in an earlier article on James Carville's suggestions for what Democrats need to do in the midterms, the leaders and activists in the Democratic Party need to continually remind the American People that the Republican Party (including the former Aspiring Duce with orange hair) is now nothing more than a group of traitorous obstructionist authoritarian reactionary cowardly alternative reality thug black shirts that have betrayed the people, the nations ideals and political system. They and the former Chief Executive Demagogue are the ones that committed treason and attempted to destroy American Democracy.
Their representatives in Congress need to be defeated in 2022, 2024, and beyond.
This cancer on the American system needs to be cut out and put in the biowaste dispensary of all the other failed authoritarian-totalitarian movements in history.
The People can not wait until a month before the mid-terms to act.
The time for action and organizing to stop the Republican assault on Democracy and reality is now.
