Democrats Should Say This on the Issue and Culture Wars: "Bring it On"

Photo from Reuters

It is important to stress two days after Tuesday's elections that, contrary to continued Republican big lies and false talking points, it is the Democratic Party that is on the right side of the issue and culture wars.

Take Law and Order.

Which political party wants to do nothing to punish the domestic terrorists who launched the attack on the nation's capital on January 6?

The Republicans.

Or public safety.

Which political party has consistently hampered efforts to stem the tide of the Coronavirus by hindering vaccination and mask-wearing mandates? Or prevent measures that would reduce shootings in schools?

The Republicans.

Or a woman's right to choose.

Which political party wants to take that way and relegate women to second-class status?

The Republicans

Or voting rights.

Which political party wants to make it more difficult to vote and challenge election results they do not agree with? Which political party has continually obstructed efforts to make voting easier?

The Republicans.

On the environment.

Which political party wants to put easing business regulations over the air and water your children breathe and drink?

The Republicans.

On infrastructure.

Which political party did not provide majority support to rebuild the nation's roads, bridges, waterways, airports, electric grid, and broadband?

The Republicans.

On expanding the middle class and lifting people up.

Which political party continually opposes efforts to accomplish that?

The Republicans.

On health care.

Which political party does not want to make it affordable, accessible, and high quality?

The Republicans.

On child poverty.

Which political party does not want to reduce that?

The Republicans.

On education.

Which political party does not want to teach the truth with regards to science and history?

The Republicans.

So when some moronic pundit says the Democratic Party has an issue problem, Democrats should say bring it on and forcefully make their case to the voters across every region in this country.

Avoiding stupid gaffes like defunding the police or parents should not have a say in their child's education would be helpful too.

Democrats do not want to step on the toes of their own message.
