In "Work," The Lincoln Project Reminds the American People it is the Democratic Party that is Working to Solve the Country's Problems

Leave it to the Lincoln Project, a group of mostly ex mainstream Republicans, to release yet another ad that is on point that the Democrats are the only political party working to deliver positive results to the American People and the reality that this work will not be completed over night.

In their latest ad, "Work," the Lincoln Project acknowledges the frustration of the American People after four years of the Trump Presidency and almost two years of the Coronavirus, noting that the damage that the last White House officeholder did to the national economy, American families, and the country's global standing "can't be undone overnight."

The narrator continues, stating that "it takes time, it takes leadership, it takes work."

The bulk of the current membership of the Republican Party and its leadership lacks the last two qualities.

The ad then pivots, citing the efforts of the Biden/Harris Administration in working competently and with a sense of hope and optimism (unlike the chaotic and drama queen Trump) to solve America's problems including combatting the Coronavirus, saving lives, and helping to steer the American Economy toward the right path.

The ad concludes with:

"It doesn't mean we don't have hard work ahead but Americans aren't scared of hard work and neither is Joe Biden."

Voters need to remember this going into 2022 and beyond.

It is the Biden/Harris Administration and the Democrats that are tirelessly working to better the lives of Americans, protect their constitutional rights, and safeguard Democracy.

What are the Republicans doing?

  • Largely obstructing progressive legislation like expanding the Child Tax Credit and health care, aid to cities, and funding schools.
  • Enabling their base to bring the country to a halt by giving them approval to not get COVID 19 vaccinations.
  • Actively looking for ways to ensure minority rule by them by looking for ways to suppress the vote, put in people friendly to them to overturn elections that they do not win, taking away a woman's right to choose, and deny other groups basic civil protections.

In the contest to see which political party is working for the American People and Democracy, there is no contest.

As the Clay Bennett cartoon below illustrates, the prescription for the American People and the country is to vote Democrat in 2022 and beyond.
