The Biden/Harris Campaign Team wasted no time building on the momentum of President Biden's well received State of the Union address by releasing the below ad, called "For You" in the battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina, specifically the pivotal turnout cities of Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Phoenix, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Raleigh.
The ad is narrated by the President himself.
At the very beginning, Mr. Biden acknowledges that he "is not a young guy" but he quickly pivots and reminds the audience that he "understands how to get things done for the American People."
The President then recited what his leadership, compared to his twice impeached predecessor, accomplished for the American People including:
- Getting the country through the COVID crisis.
- Presiding over the strongest economy in the world.
- Signing a law (with no Republican support) that lowered prescription drug prices like capping Insulin at $35.00 a month for Seniors.
- In contrast to Donald Trumps failed efforts over his four years, passing a Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that is rebuilding America.
- Signing the largest climate combatting measure in history.
- Promising to restore Roe v Wade, a Woman's Right to Choose, something Donald Trump brags about taking away with his three Supreme Court appointments.
The Presidents concluding remarks especially frame the choice the American People face this election. He said:
"Donald Trump believes the job of the President is to take care of Donald Trump. I believe the job of the President is to fight for you, the American People, and that's what I'm doing."

Commenting on the new ad, Biden-Harris Campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler commented in a campaign press release:
“Y'all want to talk about age? Let's talk about age. At 77, Joe Biden beat Donald Trump. At 78, he led us through the COVID crisis, put us on a path to creating nearly 15 million new jobs since the day he took office, and passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to repair our roads and bridges and expand access to broadband internet to every community. At 79, he got us the most significant gun safety legislation in a generation and became the first president to beat Big Pharma and cap the cost of insulin at $35 for seniors. At the same time, he made the single largest investment in history to combat climate change – all before his 80th birthday. Meanwhile, the only helpful thing Donald Trump did for the American people in four years was lose the 2020 election to Joe Biden – and it’s the one thing he won’t take credit for.”
