The Lincoln Project Strikes Again with Three New Powerful Ads Attacking MAGA-Trumpism and Praising President Biden

The Lincoln Project continued its continuing mission of producing high-quality ads over the last week.

In the pieces "Four More Years," "Entitlements," and "Not American," the Project praises the words, ideas, actions, and budget proposals of President Joe Biden while attacking the MAGA-Trumpist positions of not funding border security, supporting Vladimir Putin, and advocating for cuts in Social Security and Medicare.

In the first ad, "Four More Years," President Biden, with Rural America in the background, is quoted from his State of the Union address when he said, "An issue facing our nation isn't how old we are, it's how old are our ideas."

The ad continues with Mr. Biden condemning Mr. Trump's ideas, saying "Hate, anger, revenge, retribution, are the oldest of ideas, but you can't lead America with ancient ideas."

The President then calls for a vision of the future and goes for ideas that "can and should be done" like defending and enhancing Democracy, restoring the right to choose and reproductive freedom, a fair deal to expand the middle class, saving the planet from the climate crisis, and reducing gun violence.

The ad closes with Mr. Biden calling for inclusivity and an optimistic, hopeful vision for tomorrow, stating, "I see a future for all Americans because I believe in you, the American People. When America gets knocked down, we get back up. We keep going. And there is nothing beyond our capacity when we act together."

The ad ends with people chanting "Four More Years."

The next ad released the same day, called "Entitlements," condemns one of the few budget ideas Donald Trump has put forth this campaign, the age-old Republican dream of cutting Social Security and Medicare in favor of tax cuts for the wealthy."

The ad opens with President Biden, whose administration last week released a budget proposal designed to help people by proposing programs to lift the impoverished out of poverty and expand the middle class, attacking Donald Trump and Republicans for stating they would cut Social Security and Medicare to "fund more tax cuts for the wealthy" if they were in power again.

The ad then quotes Trump saying "There is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements in terms of cutting."

The piece then pivots back to Biden who reassures the audience he is talking to that he would not allow cuts to Social Security and Medicare while he is President, saying he would work to "strengthen" those programs and "make the wealthy pay their fair share."

The final ad released this week, "Not American," shows the disgusting disregard the MAGA Republicans led by Mr. "I killed Roe V Wade" and "My own Vice President won't endorse me " Trump and spineless "The Bible Tells Us" Speaker Mike Johnson has for the nation's national security by not funding border security and praising, to the nations detriment, Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin.

The narrator in the ad starts off by stating "American Security is a President's and party's highest calling" to maintain strength and "standing up" to the nation's enemies.

The narrator continues, saying:

"That's why Americans are outraged that Trump's MAGA party is deliberately leaving us open to attacks. They refuse to protect the border, shutting down the toughest bipartisan border security law in decades. Instead, they're helping the Cartels, the Coyotes, and the human traffickers just to score political points."

The ad then segues to MAGA's infatuation with Vladimir Putin with the narrator saying, "Worse. They're backing Vladimir Putin's murderous regime. MAGA Republicans have cut off weapons in support of the free people of Ukraine...They want Putin to win."

The ad also broadcasts Trump's threat to Ukraine and the N.A.T.O. nations when he said, "If they're not going to pay, we're not going to protect."

The narrator closes the ad with:

"Weak on the border. Weak on National Security. We know what side the MAGA GOP is on and it's not America."
