Social media, Democrats, and Never Trump Republicans are having a field day, on X of all places, thanks to the political gift of MAGA's colossal blunder yesterday (December 19, 2024) of torpedoing a short-term bipartisan budget agreement at practically the eleventh hour because Elon Musk had a hissy fit over its provisions.
Commentary has also been striking with its assertions that Donald Trump, who reacted with opposition to agreement after Mr. Musk voiced his, is nothing more than a puppet whose strings are being pulled by the more successful and shrewd billionaire from South Africa.
One of the funnier posts is former Republican House Representative Adam Kinzinger actually calling Musk the President and Trump the Vice President.
The person who posted this CNN caption is correct. This will drive Trump crazy.
This next one is from Democratic House Representative Mark Pocan.
This post from Representative Jim McGovern taunts Speaker Mike Johnson for falling in line to the man in charge, Elon Musk.
Perhaps the funniest posting is this one that captures the feelings of probably everyone at this moment.
Donald Trump may have been right. The illegal immigrants are taking over except it is the billionaire one from South Africa with potentially compromised security clearance and not the one from south of the United States border.
I wonder what all the Trump voters who claimed the border was an issue for them have to say about that.
The American People who chose Trump also said that they felt he would be better for their wallets and pocketbooks.
Trump has already recently said he is not sure, surprise surprise, contrary to campaign promises, that he can bring down grocery prices.
Now he is letting his puppet master Mr. Musk pull the strings on him and the federal government process that will hurt many of the nation's bravest and most vulnerable including recent hurricane victims and farmers.
Watch Texas Representative Jasmine Crocket explain who would be hurt with the below excerpt below.
Good job MAGA supporters.
