Book of the Week

With the recent Trump rally in West Virginia and his commitment to restoring coal jobs in that area, this weeks book of the week is a reminder of the justifiable environmental concerns of that dying industry.

The book is Michael Shnayerson's 2008 Coal River.

People in West Virginia who depend on coal jobs need to know that Progressives are not out to get them. We are just in a period in history where we have the means and knowledge to better take care of our planet and ourselves with clean technologies. The people in West Virginia should be calling for their leaders to accelerate the process of starting those and getting away from coal as the below article in U.S. News and World Report relays.
