While all the attention has been placed on the four open congressional elections last spring and summer that Democrats came up short in (but also overperformed), Democrats have actually netted six seats this year that Republicans have previously held while Republicans have not won any seats held by Democrats. This is early but these results should be encouraging as Progressives can not ease on the gas pedal as we prepare for elections in 2017 and beyond. Let's continue the march forward to a better Progressive America.
