Movie of the Week

"The Viceroys House" which is an historical drama about the partition of India. The blaming of Churchill and Moslems in this movie may be historically overdone but the movie, according to reviewers, does capture the struggle to come up with a peaceful solution in India which results in the creation of two(later three) separate nations (India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh). It should be noted that the British, through the United Nations, used the same model in creating (and evolving over the decades)  Israel, Jordan, and what we know today as the West Bank and Gaza out of the Palestinian Territories.
