If Sinclair wants to create their own network, do that and compete with Fox rather than taking over all the local ones.

What if all the local news shows read from the same script? That would be a good idea If this was a drill about a pending disaster. It is not a good idea when it is peddling the same story, especially if it is one-sided or inaccurate. If Sinclair News wants to have a national news influence, then they should do what the people at CNN, Fox, and MSNBC did and create their own cable news channel where they can give their slant to current events. Local news channels exist to broadcast community news. They should not be used to spread national news from their viewpoint.
