Day One of the Second Impeachment of the Seditious Donald Trump Hearing kind of reminded me of the part of To Kill a Mockingbird (the movie) where Atticus Finch gives a great defense for Tom but that did not matter to the whites only jury that convicted him. The one saving grace is six Republicans voted for the Constitution. Given the current state of the former Party of Lincoln, we must be thankful for small mercies.
