The Lincoln Project Group worked overtime yesterday as it unveiled several ads on the one-hundredth day following the January 6, 2021, Pro-Trump Domestic Terrorist Attack on the Nation's Capitol.
The theme of all these ads was to remind the American People that it was Donald Trump and his election denying enablers in Congress (like Kevin McCarthy, Paul Gosar, Mo Brooks, Ted Cruz, and Marjorie Taylor Greene) that were responsible for encouraging the insurrection through the Big Lie of Election Denialism.
In their ad, "January 6 By the Numbers," the project explained its production of so many ads on this day, stating:
"On January 6, 2021, the U.S. Capitol and our Democratic processes came under attack by radical extremists incited by former President Donald Trump, his allies in Congress, and the far-right media. Blood was shed and the very fabric of our Democracy was torn."
"We at the Lincoln Project will not allow this event to be forgotten, nor will we allow those responsible to escape accountability."
The first quartet of ads specifically goes after Donald Trump. Kevin McCarthy, Josh Hawley, and Ron Johnson for their enabling, encouraging, and election denialism.
The Trump ad called "Proud Boys" rightfully labels Donald Trump a traitor for instigating the attempted January 6, 2021 coup.
The McCarthy ad accuses the Republican minority leader of "doing this" through his enabling of the big lie.
The Hawley ad applies the word "complicit" with regards to him.
The Johnson ad plays back the Wisconsin Senators' mentally impaired and bigoted post-January 6, 2021 remarks to a conservative talk show host.
The next ad, called "The Vote" highlights the 147 Republicans who perpetuated the big lie in Congress on January 6, 2021, by claiming the 2020 Presidential Election (but not theirs) was a fraud. Quisling Republicans like Majorie Jewish Lasers Taylor Greene, Mo Falling Rocks cause rising sea levels Brooks, Paul my family will not vote for me Gosar, and Ted Let us go to Cancun to get out of the cold Cruz make dishonorable appearances in this presentation.
A fifth ad, "January 6 by the Numbers" reminds the viewers that:
- 414 rioters have been arrested with more to come.
- 147 Republican members of Congress voted to overturn the election.
- The Rioters committed $30,000,000 in property damage.
- 2300 National Guard troops had to be deployed to protect the Nation's Capitol.
- 140 police officers were injured.
- Three Capitol Police officers killed.
- 244 years of peaceful transfer of power in United States History until the Pro Trumpist Domestic Terrorist attempted coup.
The next ad, "Officer Brian Sicknick" directly accuses Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, Kevin McCarthy, Majorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert of being responsible for Officer Sicknick's death.
The final two ads, "100 days" and "It Never Ended" remind the American People that radical Anti Democratic white nationalism (Trumpism) is still a threat to the country (as evidenced by all the Reactionary measures in state legislatures to suppress the vote) and must be stopped.
The Lincoln Project personnel who created these ads are right.
