The Lincoln Project Unleashes Two Blistering Ads Blasting Trumpist Black Shirt Matt Gaetz

While dealing with their own controversies surrounding sexual assault committed by one of their founding members, the Lincoln Project unleashed two blistering ads condemning Trumpist Black Shirt Matt Gaetz for the accusations against him for sex trafficking.

The first ad is called Matt Gaetz.

The ad condemns the Republican Party, its leaders like Donald Trump and Mike Huckabee, and its surrogates like Fox Island for making it possible for people like Matt Gaetz and others in his reactionary lane to gain power.

This is despite the fact that he:

  • Was the lone vote against a bill that would have increased law enforcement funding to combat child sex trafficking.
  • Has associated with an accused sex trafficker.
  • Is under investigation for possible sex trafficking with underage girls himself.

Apparently, the Florida representative also liked to show nude pictures of the women he was with to his Congressional colleagues.

What a f---ing pig.

The ad closes with a call to hold Matt Gaetz accountable.

The second ad is called "Stain."

Continuing the themes from the first ad, the narrator starts off by saying "the Republican Party is in shambles"  and calls it "defeated, shamed (well that is debatable; not many of them come across as ashamed,) and reviled."

The ad then blames their blind obedience to Donald Trump for helping to elect "slick and sycophantic" Trumpist Matt Gaetz, comparing him to the 2016 and 2020 Popular Vote Loser by stating, like Trump, he:

  • Used his family wealth to attain power.
  • Is an egomaniac looking for anyone who will listen to him.
  • Is under investigation for inappropriate sexual behavior.

The narrator concludes with:

"They got into bed with a madman (Trump) and they still believe they can outlast the stain of Trump's legacy. But some things (with pictures of Matt Gaetz in the background) can't be washed away. Some things are just too dirty."

While Mr. Gaetz and other individuals that have been recently accused of sexual misconduct like Andrew Cuomo and Lincoln Project Founder John Weaver, should be accorded all aspects of the due process this country offers, there is no doubt that he and the others should be exiled from public service and face criminal sanctions if the accusations are found to be true.
