Never Forget January 6, 2021 and the Traitors that Planned it

Tomorrow will mark one year since Donald Trump and his apostates goaded thousands of ignorant, traitorous, domestic terrorists into attacking the Nation's Capitol in an attempt to stage a coup against the legitimate election of Joe Biden as President of the United States.

AZ Blue Meanie and other writers at the Blog of Arizona have ably chronicled those horrific events as they happened and the resulting investigations and ramifications from it.

It is important that the rioters be brought to justice.

It is essential that the organizers of this attempted coup be held to account and made to pay for their treason (and that is what it was: treason.)

It is also vital that no one forgets that a President of the United States, enabled by his most devoted fanatical supporters, tried to destroy the American Republic and Ideal on January 6, 2021.

Never forget that.

Also never forget the names of the people (traitors) who either encouraged the attempted coup or helped organize it.

That includes Donald Trump and his consigliere Rudy Giuliani.

That includes Trumpist allies in Congress like Mo Brooks, Madison Cawthorn, Andy Biggs, and Paul Gosar

That includes candidates for various local and state wide offices like Arizona Legislative District 11 State Representative Mark Finchem, a candidate for Secretary of State in the Grand Canyon State.

Never forget what hell these people put the country through in their attempt to fashion an authoritarian nation based on the cult of Trump, an individual who never won the popular vote in two Presidential elections, was endorsed by David Duke, and was impeached twice.

Never forget when you go to the ballot box in 2022 and beyond. Do not let these individuals retain or gain power ever again.

Never allow fringe elements, like Holocaust deniers at the end of World War Two and afterward, minimize or deny the gravity of the events of January 6, 2021.

NEVER FORGET.
