Medicaid in Arizona: Should there be limits? In a word no.

Recent articles in the Arizona Republic and Arizona Daily Star have revealed that State proponents of putting a five year and work limit on people receiving Medicaid in Arizona may find a more receptive audience in the Trump Administration. The Obama Administration denied an earlier request.

People who are impoverished, in school, looking for a job, or employed in a position that barely makes ends meet should not fear losing coverage of affordable health insurance if they have done everything society requires of them. If we are the land that is supposed to subscribe to family, moral and Judeo-Christian-Islamic values, then this should not be a subject for discussion. What moral code worth endorsing would call on spitting in someone's face after "time" is up. We are better than that?
