How can one stitch cost $500.00?

One of the reasons health care is expensive in this country is the outrageous costs for hospital supplies and care. Please view the video link below which depicts some hospitals charging up to five times more for care than hospitals in other developed countries. Furthermore, it is really outrageous when one stitch can cost up to $500 whereas in France it costs just under $15.00. This is what happens when you have the insurance industry as a go between for health insurance. It becomes a racket where everyone gets rich but the patient who has to pay higher insurance every year that is many times over the rate of inflation. These are other reasons we should have Medicare for all or as Paul Krugman notes in his editorial from yesterday, an Obamacare like system that is better and resembles what the Dutch have in greater regulating costs.
