A recent Washington Post poll results show that 47 percent of people who belong to the Republican Party believe the President won the popular vote in last years election. Another 68 percent believe illegal immigrants voted in masse in the last election and 73 percent think fraud is widespread. What is really shocking is 56 percent of the Republicans in this poll said they would support postponing the 2020 election so that only eligible voters can vote. THIS IS EXTREMELY SCARY in that a majority of the Republican Party appears to have fallen victim to believing the real "fake news" and are willing to unconstitutionally prolong our current President's term to reduce virtually nonexistent voter fraud. This is a DANGEROUS SLIPPERY SLOPE when one of our political parties has become the haven of wackos and fake conspiracy theorists. In order to have a well-functioning democracy and federal republic, our people need to be well informed and not be watching Alex Jones and reading the National Enquirer or we will have a democracy/republic in name only. Some people may think we are there already. Let us hope we can turn the tide.
