The President needs to start sending the right signals to the world.
First, he speaks like armageddon is coming in reference to North Korea. While this probably thrills segments of the people who voted for him, that is not a sensible tactic in resolving this situation.
Then, the President, who in fairness was trying to take a public "no big deal approach" mucked up his response to a question about Putin by thanking him and, again in fairness, accidentally putting the Russian President over his own people.
The President's team seriously need to take this opportunity during the working vacation and advise him how to properly act during these situations. The country and the world will be better for it.
