While the President seems to have problems calling out the alt right for the loathsome ideology it represents, his immediate predecessor and Vice President have no problem rising to the occasion.
President Obama issued a series of tweets, quoting Nelson Mandela in stating
"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or religion People must learn to hate and if they learn to hate, they can be taught to love......"
Vice President Biden was more concise and to the point in tweeting "There is only one side."
Perhaps the current President can learn from these examples and chastize that part of the base that supports him rather than going after African American Executives who quit his advisory council because of the Presidents reaction to events over the weekend. Apparently, he wasn't hesitant to react to that. SHAME.
