Shame on the Florida and Arizona State Legislatures for spitting on the victims of school shootings in Florida and 17 other educational institutions by refusing to even consider legislation to ban assault weapons. How cruel and short-sighted these individuals are for championing the whims of the National Rifle Association and not the people they were elected to serve. Progressives and Democrats have another reason to be energized for the coming elections in the next several years.
