Republican Hypocrisy was on full display today

Republican Hypocrisy was on full display today.
They accuse Democrats of withholding confidential documents while they have been steamrolling this process with the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh.
They claim to be the law and order party but will not sanction an F.B.I. investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. They will not subpoena key witnesses that may have something to contribute.
They say that Democrats have treated Judge Kavanaugh with disdain and holding up the process while forgetting how they let Merrick Garland twist in the wind.
They have a third party question, Dr. Ford, because they were afraid of how they would look on television but, when confronted with the fact that the questioner's questions are not getting the job done, show their bravery when given the opportunity to question a kindred spirit.
Judge Kavanaugh gave a bombastic, unhinged, and alt right opening statement (which despite what he said was probably aided by popular vote loser political aids) that showed that he lacks the temperament and objectivity to be on the Supreme Court. One has to wonder what he really is like when he is intoxicated.
At this time Republicans still plan to have a committee vote on this nomination tomorrow. We should hope that cooler and objective heads in both parties realize that this is the wrong nominee at the wrong time.
