Some Republican Office Holders Appear to Not Care if their Constituents Get Sick or Die

No wonder people are bolting from the Republican party in higher numbers than Democrats in Arizona.

Given the attitude of several vocal former party of Lincoln officeholders towards the Biden/Harris Administration's goals to intensify community outreach to increase American vaccination rates, some could say these people are running for their lives.

Take two of the House of Representative's freshman reactionaries and Qanon subscribers: Lauren I want to carry a gun in Congress Boebert and Marjorie Jewish lasers cause California forest fires Taylor Greene.

Both have likened the new Biden/Harris efforts to reach out to local communities as Nazi-Brownshirt tactics.

Greene tweeted:

Who is ordering people to get vaccinations and force them to be part of human experimentation? Ms. Greene needs to study history and read up on current events.

Not to be outdone, Boebert used the Trump mode of communication and tweeted:

No Ms. Boebert. You woke up in a country where the current administration has more interest in saving lives than you do.

In Arizona, the Trump Zone-Fox Island-Disinfowar wing of the Republican party,as AZ Central's Laurie Roberts relays,  has come out in full force against the Biden/Harris efforts.

In many cases, these are the same Know-Nothings that thought wearing masks was more of an issue than getting the Coronavirus.

Legislative District (LD) Six State Senator Wendy I do not treat my staff well Rogers also tweeted:

LD 16 Kelly Critical Race Theory is Anti White-Donna Trump Townsend also posted:

Who is trying to trespass on people's property against their will?

Who is trying to force vaccinate people?

Senators Rogers and Townsend should avail themselves of any free psychiatric care the state offers public officials.

Finally, Roberts reports that Arizona Attorney General Mark I know nothing about election tampering in Maricopa County Brnovich went off the rails yesterday, insinuating, without any basis, in fact, tweeting (what else:)

https://twitter.com/GeneralBrnovich/status/1412832697924276227

Suffice it to say, there is no evidence that the Biden/Harris Administration has private medical information on American Citizens.

Mr. Brnovich should concentrate on conducting investigations into potentially actual crimes, as Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and others have suggested, like the involvement of Kelli Ward and Rudy Giuliani in possible voter suppression tactics in Maricopa County after the 2020 elections.

It seems Republican officeholders do not seem to care if their constituents become ill and die from the Coronavirus.

In electoral politics, that is probably not the best long-term strategy to turn out your base voters if some of them wind up six feet under because they listened to the Know Nothing-science denying nonsense of people like Taylor Greene, Boebert, Rogers, Townsend, and Brnovich.

No wonder people who once belonged to the Republican party are running away in droves.

Their lives depend on it.
