When Joe Biden Won the Duel of the Town Halls This Evening

Because Donald Trump was too immature to hold a virtual townhall Presidential Debate this evening (the Stable Genius whined the moderator could mute him if he did not behave,) the American People were forced to watch two town halls.

The one with Biden was in Philadelphia at the Constitution Center. It was broadcast on ABC and moderated by George Stephanopoulos.

The Trump Town Hall was in Miami and was broadcast on NBC. It was moderated by Savanah Guthrie.

Joe Biden won the Duel of the Town Halls.

Some people would say he won it because he answered the questions at his town hall in thoughtful policy-oriented coherent sentences on topics ranging from the Supreme Court to Fracking to Uniting the Country to Combatting COVID !9.

Other people would contend he won because Trump was Trump at his event. During his sixty minutes, the KKK endorsed candidate was:

  • Chauvinistic.
  • Disrespectful to the moderator.
  • Peddled misinformation on the wearing of masks,  Q'Anon (he claimed he did not know anything about it,) a social media posting he retweeted on an outlandish conspiracy theory involving Seal Team Six and Osama Bin Laden (this is where Guthrie may have had the best sound bite of the evening, telling Trump he is the President, not a crazy uncle,) not firmly saying if he took a COVID 19 test the day of the first debate, and not revealing who he owed $421 million dollars to.

While those are two excellent reasons for pointing out that Biden won the Duel of the Town Halls, the one reason for me that Biden won this evening was what he did after his event.

He stayed and answered the questions from the people that did not either get a chance to ask him during the town hall or wanted to follow up on previous ones.

That showed that Biden is authentic and truly cares about the People he wants to lead.

He showed, again, that he would be a good President for everyone and definitely better than the current broken model.

One of the Trump advisors said that watching the Biden town hall was like watching an episode of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

Thank God. Yes, it was like that. Many Americans want to live in that neighborhood after four years of Individual One.

That comment is already generating quite a response on social media with many people obviously preferring Mr. Joe Rogers Biden.

November 3, 2020, is in 18 days. Please remember to do your part for the American Ideal and Democratic Process. Get out and vote.
