States Rights: Not so fast a lot of state officials say on the Graham-Cassidy Bill

The Graham-Cassidy Bill currently provides two years for states to develop their own healthcare systems. According to the article below, that can be problematic for some states, especially those with mixed governments with one political party in charge of one branch and vice versa. The Texas Legislature meets again in 2019 so they would only have one year to get it up and running. The article points out that Romney Care in Massachusetts took four years to fully implement. States Rights sounds attractive until the time comes to produce on your own. Just another reason to vote down the right's latest incarnation of Repeal and Replace.
