More interesting revelations with regards to the possible collusion between the Trump Campaign and individuals/groups associated with the Russian government. Apparently, a FISA warrant was issued last year for Trump Foreign Advisor Carter Page during the middle of the campaign for his alleged ties with Russian Operatives. Furthermore, it turns out British Intelligence may have stumbled upon some connections as well and told the C.I.A. Director at the time, John Brennan.
Again, the question is why did the Obama Administration, with all this apparent information, not go public with these issues despite threats from people from Mitch McConnell to use it as a campaign issue against Hillary Clinton. Why did James Comey when he told Congress that he was looking into possible Clinton emails in October, not play fair, and reveal at the same time "oh by the way, Trumps people are being investigated too."
As mentioned in earlier posts, President Obama made the same mistake that President Lyndon Johnson did when he did not publicly reveal on the eve of the 1968 election that Richard Nixon, in an act that was treasonous, actively used third parties to sabotage peace talks between North and South Vietnam. With that mistake, we got Richard Nixon, Watergate, and the table set for the society we have today. Hopefully, President Obama's inaction will not have similar results but the first few months of this Trump Presidency do not look promising.
