Welcome news in Arizona Political Circles when Tempe City Council Person and Superintendent of the East Valley Institute of Technology, David Scapira has announced he plans to run against current Superintendent Diane Douglas for the Superintendent of Public Instruction. If he gets the Democratic Nomination, Scapira should have the best chance for his party to win a statewide office in 2018.
