Below is an article from NPR, similar to an earlier one from CNN on how the Presidents actions and statements have "evolved" since becoming President. To objective followers as well as some supporters, The President, like most of his predecessors, is facing the reality of governing and reconciling that with campaign promises. To his opponents and some supporters who took a chance in voting for Mr. Trump, this shows that he was lying the whole time. Only time and history will tell which is true and even then there may not be agreement.
