As we prepare to pay our fair share in taxes so civilization can advance and progress forward, it may be advantageous to point out some policies that affect revenues that could help our country from the bottom up.
1) Expand the Earned Income Tax Credit for families struggling to make ends meet.
2) Expand the Research, Equipment, and Clean Energy Tax Credits for all businesses.
3) Expand the Child Tax Credit.
4) Expand the Hope and Lifelong Learning Credits.
5) Expand the Charitable Giving Credit.
6) Increase the gasoline tax and the proceeds would go towards infrastructure projects.
7) Promote either a national lottery or small percentage sales tax that goes towards paying down the debt.
