The War on Reality: This weeks additions to the current Republican Legacy.

Republicans over close to the last 40 years have waged a war on reality.

Ronald Reagan said trees kill people, his economic policies would balance the budget, and recited events from World War Two movies in speeches as history.

George W. Bush gave the American People false intelligence that Iraq was on track to develop a nuclear weapons program to help convince people to support his invasion of Iraq.

You have Republicans that think rising ocean levels are caused by large boulders falling into the sea.

You have Republicans that think Dinosaurs had enough room to ride in Noah's Ark.

You have a KKK endorsed and Popular Vote loser President who thinks climate change is a hoax and 3000 people did not die in Puerto Rico.

This week, the Texas State Board of Education decided people like Helen Keller (the deaf and blind person whose life inspired millions), Barry Goldwater (A senator, Presidential Nominee and the father of the Republican Conservative Movement that is credited for helping propel Ronald Reagan to the Presidency), and Hillary Clinton (a former first lady, Senator, Secretary of State, and first woman nominee for President from a major party who also won the popular vote) was taken out of the K-12 History Curriculum while they kept the televangelist Billy Graham.

We need experts to draft our history and science standards. We cannot allow partisan hacks to do it or we are condemning segments of our populace to perpetual ignorance that was written about in Orwell's 1984 and reinforced in countries like Stalin's Soviet Union.

Like the article, yesterday on preserving our Republic indicated, our American way will not survive if we let Orwellian Fascist Republicans influence what reality is.
