The Republican candidate for Jeff Flake's Arizona seat Martha McSally has attempted to land several accusations at the feet of Democratic candidate Kyrsten Sinema. They have all been proven false or misleading/out of context but it is noteworthy to remind people that the accusation that Sinema protested the Iraq war is counterproductive and should blow back on McSally because Sinema and the others who knew that war had nothing to do with going after the people who attacked us on 9/11. They knew that the invasion of Iraq would unleash a powder keg of instability if done on the cheap to the corporate welfare benefit of former Vice President Cheney's Haliburton. Sinema has a golden opportunity when she debates McSally (if McSally agrees to debate) to ask "What is it about the war in Iraq that did help the United States?" Democrats, Independents, and Republicans should see through these shallow fake attacks from McSally and support Sinema.
