Hallelujah: After Michigan Certifies the Biden/Harris Victory, GSA Approves the Start of the Presidential Transition Process

 Better late than never.

With Michigan, in a three to zero state canvass vote, certifying the Biden/Harris victory in that state and Pennsylvania about to, the General Services Administration, under Emily Murphy, has approved the start of the transition process from the outgoing Trump/Pence Administration to the incoming Biden/Harris one.

Increasing numbers of Republicans calling on the Trump Administration to start the transition process probably played a part.

So to perhaps did the possible subpoenaing to appear before the House of Representatives helped Murphy in the decision-making process as well.

Please click here to read the letter from Ms. Murpht at G.S.A.

What does this mean?

  • The Biden/Harris team will now receive national security briefings and access to COVID vaccine and combatting the pandemic matters.
  • The Biden/Harris team can now speak with Trump/Pence Administration figures.
  • Biden/Harris nominees that will require Senate confirmations can now undergo the background/security clearance process.

Perhaps in a sign that he finally publicly realizes his Presidency is over, Mr. Trump, in a tweet, pledged to continue the court fight but said:

"Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same."

Newsflash: He is not supposed to have the power to decide when the transition process begins.

Hallelujah.

Now the transition process can fully proceed and this will help pave the way to a fast start for the new administration this January in combatting the Coronavirus, rebuilding the country, and moving the nation forward.

This article will be updated with a statement from the Biden/Harris team after it is released.
