The Biden/Harris Team Adds Diversity to the Incoming White House Staff

President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris announced nine more selections to the White House staff on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, to go along with Chief of Staff Designee Ron Klain.

These picks are:

  • Former Campaign Manager Jen O'Malley Dillon: Deputy White House Chief of Staff
  • Dana Ramus: Counsel to the President
  • Julissa Reynoso: Pantaleon: Chief of Staff to Dr. Jill Biden.
  • Julie Rodriguez: Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
  • Annie Tomasini: Director of Oval Office Operations.
  • Lousiana Representative Cedric Richmond: Senior Advisor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.
  • Steve Ricchetti: Counselor to the President.
  • Anthony Bernal: Senior Advisor to Dr. Jill Biden.
  • Mike Donilon: Senior Advisor to President Biden.

All of these selections have long-standing ties to either President-Elect Biden, Vice President-Elect Harris, or Dr. Jill Biden.

The new selections demonstrate the Biden/Harris team's decision to populate a diverse White House staff and cabinet that looks like America.

The remaining White House staffing decisions to be announced include the Press Secretary, Communications Director, the Head of the Office of Management and Budget, the head of the National Economic Council, and the leader of the National Security Council.

The President-Elect and Vice President-Elect also have to start announcing their choices for cabinet positions.
