More interesting perspectives on gun control and maybe a beacon of hope

Below are three interesting articles including the Australian experience in reducing the supply of firearms and an editorial from Tom Friedman postulating how our attitude towards gun control would be different if this was a terrorist attack.

Apparently, some Republicans on the hill are making noise about actually banning "the Bump Stocks" the shooter in Las Vegas utilized on Sunday evening. Let us hope this is not some customary lip service to make these public servants seem sympathetic and then they quietly drop their concerns as time goes by. We need sensible gun control legislation and this could be the first step if everyone is serious.
