What will the Supreme Court decide? Will Gerrymandering end and Independent Commissions become the norm?

Politicians of both parties have proven that they can not be trusted with drawing up legislative districts following a census every ten years. No matter what the Supreme Court decides, state legislatures should pass laws putting redistricting in the hands of independent commissions. There really is no alternative.
